or symbolism to convey a meaning in your writing by
choosing one of the options below:
1. Revising what you already wrote to use figurative language
or symbolism
2. Adding additional content that uses figurative language
and/or symbolism to what you already wrote (in other
words, if you have 2 paragraphs, add a second paragraph
that has figurative language and/or symbolism).
3. Starting a brand new story that uses figurative language and
symbolism (as well as introduces a character, setting and conflict)
