Math Help, due soon (homework)

Hey there!
First, we are given:
[tex]\frac{1\frac{1}{4}}{1\frac{3}{8}}[/tex]
To make this easier, I am going to change the fractions in to decimals.
[tex]\frac{1.25}{0.375}[/tex]
To get the unit rate, we can use proportions:
[tex]\frac{1.25}{0.375} = \frac{x}{1}[/tex]
Using cross products, we know that...
[tex]1.25 * 1 = 0.375 * x[/tex]
Now, we solve for [tex]x[/tex]:
[tex]1.25 * 1 = 0.375 * x\\ 1.25 = 0.375x\\ 3 \frac{1}{3} = x[/tex]
Therefore, the unit rate is [tex]\frac{3\frac{1}{3} }{1}[/tex]
Now, do the same with the other problem, and the unit rate is [tex]\frac{1\frac{4}{5} }{1}[/tex]
Have a terrificly amazing day!!!
