I think it’s A because semicolons are used for like two sentences that are a bit related, but they aren’t completely related. For C and D, you would use commas instead of the semicolons. For B, the two pieces are completely unrelated and should be separated by periods. A connects two sentences together that can be seperate and still work, but together they are related.
