the reason for Germany to root out disloyelty was because they couldnt lose the war this was going to be the war to end all wars and Germany had to come out on top they also needed someone to blame for the lose in the first wold war and finnaly it was majorly the leader Adolf at the time who was a hard core nationalist as well as a tyrant
