Theories and hypotheses are different. A hypothesis is when you make an educated guess with no knowledge whatsoever. A theory is when you know something and you have all the facts, all the information, all the everything. A theory is a conspiracy while a hypothesis is an educated/non-educated guess.
  • The pre assumption made before doing any research has been completed for that same sake of testing is called hypothesis.
  • The principle which is set to explain phenomena already supported by proven data is called theory.
  • Hypothesis is just a suggested phenomena which may be wrong proven in future.
  • However theory is proven already and getting used.
