Do snakes have tails or is it just head and tail?
Alright, listen up. Snakes. More specifically, their bone structure, it’s just a skull and spine. A tail is essentially just a part of the spine extending outwards to create a separate limb/attachment. So would a snake just be a head and then tail (unless a rattlesnake) and if not, where exactly would the tail part start?

Answer :

They have both. The actual tail of a snake is a relatively short bit at the end, behind the anus, similarly to any other vertebrate animals. Most of the snake's body is the torso, and the neck is also short tho
