The area of the circle

The area of the circle formula --> [tex]\pi r^2[/tex]
Length of radius is half of diameter which is 14km long
[tex]Area = \pi r^2=\pi (7km)^2=(49\pi )km^2=153.86km^2[/tex]
Hope that helps!

Let's find the Area of given circle ~
Area of circle is :
[tex] \qquad \tt \dashrightarrow \: \pi{r}^{2} [/tex]
where, r = radius
Now, let's calculate it ~
[tex] \qquad \tt \dashrightarrow \: a = \pi{}^{}×(7)² [/tex]
[tex] \qquad \tt \dashrightarrow \: a = 49\pi{}^{}km² [/tex]
That's the answer I terms of π, but we can also plug in the appropriate value of pi as 3.14
[tex] \qquad \tt \dashrightarrow \: a=49\times 3.14{}^{} [/tex]
[tex] \qquad \tt \dashrightarrow \: a= 153.86 \: \: km²[/tex]
[tex] \qquad \tt \dashrightarrow \: area \approx 154\: \: km²[/tex]
