Although less researched than physical health to date, the relationship between mental health and weather extremes is a public health problem. In a low- to a middle-income population in the Southeast of the United States, this exploratory study looks at the effects of two types of weather extremes that are increasingly connected to climate change: summer heat waves and extreme winter weather.
